B Corp
Rituals is proud to be a Certified B Corporation™, a globally respected designation that reflects our commitment to use business as a force for good.
Achieving the B Corp certification is recognition that we meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. This certification is much more than just a label, it represents our dedication to continuous improvement and our mission to become an iconic wellbeing brand that makes a positive impact on people and planet.
The process of becoming a certified B Corporation involves a rigorous assessment of our entire business across five categories: governance, environment, community, workers, and customers. Companies must score at least 80 points to achieve certification, and we are proud to have scored 93.5 points in our recertification. This achievement places us among a global community of future conscious businesses that are committed to creating a more inclusive and sustainable economy.
For Rituals, the B Corp certification is a testament to our holistic approach to sustainability. It underscores our efforts to improve our environmental footprint, enhance the wellbeing of our employees, and contribute positively to society. But we can’t do it alone, which is why as part of the B Beauty Coalition, we collaborate with other B Corps in the beauty sector to drive industry-wide change and promote 'beauty for good.'
And we’re not done. Our journey as a B Corp is ongoing, and we continuously strive to uphold the principles of this certification. It inspires us to innovate, improve, and lead by example, demonstrating that better business practices are not only achievable but essential for the future of our planet.

Impact Analysis
We mapped the most important ESG themes (environment, social and governance) with our internal and external stakeholders via a survey.
When engaging with stakeholders, a simplified long-list of sustainability matters, and a scoring mechanism were used. This resulted in a series of themes that, according to the stakeholders, are relevant for Rituals. Among stakeholders are our customers, employees, suppliers, financial institutions and NGOs. We analysed the results and then discussed and validated them with our Executive Committee.
The assessment identified the following topics as material: Climate Change, Pollution, Circularity, Biodiversity, Water, Own Workforce, Workers in the Value Chain, and Business Conduct.
Our materiality assessment is an ongoing process and in the upcoming years we are working towards alignment with the Corporate Sustainable Reporting Directive (CSRD) requirements.
